MB Design was established in 1997 by current company director Melvyn Bridgewater. MB Design is a design led architectural practice based in New Ross, Co.Wexford, located in South East Ireland. Our company prides itself on delivering a quality, personal, professional and prompt service to our clients.
MB Design’s philosophy is a commitment to quality of service and design. We strive to ensure that our buildings improve & enhance the lives of our clients who use them. Our aims are to create high quality architecture, incorporating designs which take account of its surroundings and context, to design buildings with regard for the environment and the efficient use of energy, to create attractive buildings that are appropriate, functional and affordable.
By taking inspiration from outstanding architecture of the past and present by architects such as Frank Lloyd Wright, Le Corbusier, Goudi, Mies van der Rohe and Richard Meier to name but a few, we endeavor to create designs personalised for our clients. We do not subscribe to the idea of designing to one style of architecture for all our buildings but to embrace many styles and not be constrained by one particular form, still following the basic rules of design within architecture, which not only conforms to the client brief and needs but also to the building’s location and setting.
